Participants explored mark making, texture and drawing using different monoprinting techniques. They learnt how to produce printed drawings using both positive and negative line work, combined with mark making in the ink to achieve varying textures.
This workshop really encourages experimentation and combining techniques. Participants used a wide variety of tools and everyday found objects as drawing tools to create the marks and most were surprised at the variations that can be achieved.
It was really nice to see everybody adopting the techniques so well to produce some really varied outcomes.
